I remember at one time it did kind of bother me a little what people were saying. I was out walking with my daughter she must of been about 4. It was the beginning of winter so it wasn't to cold but cool enough to wear something a little heavy, in the winter i wear a long black cloak, my daughter loved it (she stills does and she is 10 now!) she wanted one just like mum..so i got her one but it was red outlined with black. as we walked down the street a car drove by and the people were yelling things at us because of the way i was dressed and yelling things at my daughter saying things like....look at the little freak just like her mother...and so on. it bothered me for some time but i remembered looking at her face the whole time these people were yelling. She was smiling. she looked up at me and shaking her head saying...mum i'm a little freak!! i couldnt do anything but laugh. she was 4 and she didnt care. she still doesnt. although i allowed it to bother me for some time everyday that passed and i watched her i grew in strength and i now have her attitude....i am who i am whether people like it or not. KIDS wow.

I am glad there is a place like this. I have always felt......different but I am ones who doesnt care what people say or think about me but it is really nice to be able to go somewhere where the people dont care what you look like and have nothing bad to say about you.
